More people became useful to our country making it more economical and industrialized. And this helped to begin a sense of unitedness. Modernization of the caste system was largely due to to the father of our nation Mahatma Gandhi. More people started to become educated and started to come out of their shell. Any person can't be said inferior but the circumstances make them if provided better then they could be diamond in rough.
