It was during new kingdom, Pharaohs launched wide expeditions and conquered many lands. It started to broaden its empire. They used gold mines of Nubia to fill their treasury and thus rulers began to create huge armies.
Egyptian army mostly comprised of heroic archers, many armed archers and mighty archers who are graded according to their skills and abilities. Pharaohs were attributed with divine entities that many considered them to be supreme.
