Explanation:

Verbs indicate action, what happens or what is done. And in Spanish the 3 categories or conjugations are divided, according to their termination. The infinitive is the form used to enunciate the verbs and the three endings are –ar, -er, -ir. Verbs can be grouped depending on their termination in the first, second or third conjugation.

FIRST CONJUGATION:

Verbs ending in -ar

Ej: cantar, bailar

SECOND CONJUGATION:

Verbs ending in -er

Ej: comer, correr

THIRD CONJUGATION:

Verbs ending in -ir

Ej: dormir, salir

The five sentences in Spanish, using -ar, -er, -ir verbs and question words are:

  1. ¿Por qué quieres vivir en Nueva Zelanda?
  2. ¿Dónde sueñas trabajar en un futuro?
  3. ¿Cuándo anhelas construir tu propia casa?
  4. ¿Qué amas hacer en tu vida?
  5. ¿Cómo piensas obtener tus metas?

Infinitive verbs in Spanish.

Verbs in infinitive in Spanish have the endings -ar, -er, -ir, however, in order to preserve their infinitive form within a sentence, a verb must be used previously, since in the present tense of Spanish, when they use two verbs in a row, the first verb is conjugated and the second is infinitive.

Question words.

They are those that allow you to ask specific questions about the time, the place, the way, the reason, among others, in Spanish, some of these words are:

  • Por qué
  • Para qué
  • Cuánto

As you can see in the answers, in each sentence a verb was used in its infinitive form and a different question word, as required by the statement.
