If the circle is divided into equal sectors it will form a triangle.

∴Base= 2πr and Height=r.
The area of the parallelogram = Base×Height.
∴ The area for the circle turned parallelogram = 2πr×r.
⇒Area= 2πr².
In other words, twice the πr and r (or) πr².
