Reason to pursue your studies at the University of Houston-College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics:
I am an ardent seeker of knowledge. Coming from a rural background where completing school is considered to be a rare privilege, going for higher studies was a dream. Keeping in mind my exceptional performance record in school, the headmaster of my school recommended me for scholarships available so as to remove all hurdles in my way.
Financial aid was a great help indeed and the morale was kept up by the words of praise showered intermittently by my teachers and elders. My dreams took flight. After securing merit in class XII, I chanced upon an opportunity from the University of Houston – College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. I have always had a flair for both subjects.
On purpose, I had opted both at the senior secondary level. Studying abroad, in a university of repute, with a diverse set of peers, in an amazing land and all the information resource coming from great educationists in the fields was an opportunity to die for.
I have applied with high hopes. After graduating, I wish to pursue my Masters and Doctorate in the field and be an innovator and researcher contributing my bit. Both the fields are progressive and will never become obsolete with new technological innovations opening new pathways.
They are my calling. Someone once said, “Be the change you want to see in the world”. The University of Houston will be the stepping stone of my journey. Student scholarships being offered will fulfill my dreams. I am eagerly awaiting my selection and enrolment.
