The normal human microbiota has coevolved with humans. This microbiota consists of a wide variety of organisms interacting with each other and with their human host. For a normal, healthy human host, how is/are the majority of these relationships described?

Answer:

The relationships with microbiota are very important.

Explanation:

Every human being has millions of funghi, bacteria and archaea living inside their bodies that is called microbiota and it has so many important roles within our bodies.

The microbiota in our guts help us with our digestive processes and balance the environment in our digestive system in terms of pH etc. The microbiota that is in our mucus helps us with protection against infections and in fighting against viral infections that are spread with mucus through the nose.

So for a healthy person, most of the microbiota relationships can be described as mutualistic as the bacteria helps us and in turn use us as hosts.

I hope this answer helps.
