Christmas is a time for families to gather together and celebrate the birth of Jesus, and to give gifts. In Australia there is a special event called Carols by Candlelight. This is when people come together at night to light candles, and sing Christmas carols. Some countries that celebrate Christmas are Germany, Japan, Norway, Mexico, Spain, and many more. Christmas is a time for Chinese people to shop and feast. However, most Chinese people don’t celebrate Christmas at all. For the few who do, they decorate their house with lights, trees, and other decorations.
