The endpoint of the titration is indicated by a change in color of the solution from colorless to faint pink. What kind of error would result if TOO MUCH NaOH was added and the color of the solution turned DARK PINK?

Respuesta :

Is an end point error that could be considered as human error.

If you add more NaOH than end point, you won't read the correct volume corresponding to the end point. So, when you're going to calculate the concentration of the analyte, will be wrong. Each individual could add more titrant solution because preceive color slightly different or because an error manipulating the burette.
