Answer:

The car having 400 kg and speed 6 m/s  have more momentum than The car  having 15 kg and speed 15 m/s  .

Explanation:

Given as :

The mass of Car A = 400 kg

The velocity of Car A = 6 m/s

The mass of Car B = 15 kg

The velocity of Car B = 15 m/s

Let The momentum of Car A = [tex]M_1[/tex]

And The momentum of Car B = [tex]M_2[/tex]

Now ,

Since momentum is the property of moving body , and it is defined as the products of mass velocity of body  .

I.e, M = mass × velocity

So, The momentum of Car A  = mass of Car A × velocity of Car A

I.e  [tex]M_1[/tex] = 400 kg × 6 m/s

I.e   [tex]M_1[/tex] = 2400 kg m/s

Again ,

So, The momentum of Car B  = mass of Car B × velocity of Car B

I.e  [tex]M_2[/tex] = 15 kg × 15 m/s

I.e   [tex]M_2[/tex] = 225 kg m/s

So, ∵  2400 kg m/s [tex]>[/tex] 225 kg m/s

∴  [tex]M_1[/tex]  [tex]>[/tex]  [tex]M_1[/tex]

so, Momentum of car A more than momentum of car B

Hence The car having 400 kg and speed 6 m/s  have more momentum than The car  having 15 kg and speed 15 m/s  . Answer
