Answer:

phosphofructokinase (PFK/PFK-1) actually have 2 sites for binding of ATP. One is called active site and other regulatory site. when ATP bind to active site on PFK-1, it will act as co substrate of the enzyme and when ATP binds to regulatory site on PFK-1, it will regulate and inhibit the PFK-1 activity at higher concentration.
