Slope is represented by m

So when you see an question like y = mx + b, m is the slope

You can calculate slope using this formula: (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

Lets use the points (1, 3) and (2, 10)

y2 is 10

y1 is 3

x2 is 2

x1 is 1

(10 - 3)/(2 - 1)

10 - 3 = 7

2 - 1 = 1

The slope would be 7.

Therefore, m = 7
