Technological advancements would influence my writing in a way that would mostly show what's 'trending' or 'in' based on what I see in media. Especially now that social media is rampant, people are more aware of the happenings in the world, and I could use that to gauge what I'd write that would be relatable to them. Also, literature would be mostly about more on technology and research and less on medieval or any old-century stuff. 

In contrast, literature can influence technological advancements through introducing new information that would give innovators an idea to make or create something. It could spark some creativity that mirrors the tech-savvy lifestyle of the generation.
