Both Booker T and Du Bois are regarded as African-American heroes who fought for the rights for the Black Minority in the United States.
However, they did have a huge difference in their approach and understanding of issues.
Booker T. was known for the famous 'Atlanta Compromise' which gave the right to education and an equal economic opportunity, while at the same time, acknowledging White Supremacy.
Booker T. did not want to challenge Jim Crow laws directly, as he believe it would take time, effort and might not bear fruit. He believed if African-Americans are simply given an equal right to education and entrepreneurship, they build a better life for themselves and have more say in the government.
On the other hand, Du Bois believed that the Atlanta Compromise was good enough and as American citizens, they should the exact rights as the Whites.
He was part of the Niagara movement as well as the NAACP.
