What is Patrick Maloney referring to when he says "I know it’s kind of a bad time to be telling you"? lamb to the slaughter

Answer: referring, It is not the right time to tell you. I don't know if I'm supposed to answer lamb to the slaughter with the other but I'm going to. Basically it means that it is a big kill.
