There's a different way I solve ratio equations compared to most typical ways of solving these kinds of questions, but it's always worked for me so I'll use it here.

You can add all the numbers in the ratio together and include a constant. This can basically be any variable.

In this case, 2n+3n = 5n (since the ratio is 2:3)
5n = 500
n = 100
Now we know that the constant is 100.

Multiply the constant into the ratio:
2n:3n
2(100):3(100)
200:300
