when a bottle too will flipped lands either face up or face down.in an experiment the following results are obtained after 50flips:face up 31times and face down 19times .from these results,find the expected number of times that
a)the bottle top will lend face up when flipped 100times.
b)the bottle top will land face down when flipped 100 times

So, just to simplify this I'll find out what percentage of the 50 landed face down with:

19/50 x 100 = 38%
Therefore  the other 62% of tosses landed face up.

a) 100 x 62% = 62 (obviously).

b) 100 - 62 = 38.
