The graph passes through (0.5,0) point on the X-axis and (0,1) point on the Y-axis.

So, the length of the X-intercept is 0.5 and that of Y-intercept is 1.

Hence, the equation of the straight line graph is

⇒ 2x + y = 1 ....... (1)  

Now, y = f(x) = 1 - 2x
