He was an empire and gained power by the rush of Revolution in France. The French were admits a harsh time and after a group of five called the Directory whom led France decided to try and invade Britain Napoleon but he insisted on taking out Egypt because of trading paths.In 1799 Napoleon led an army and needed the directory ultimately gaining power. He then went on a power strike and showed his strength and military strategy. While in power he implanted the Napoleonic Code which is basis of the french Laws today.
