Formula for Area = pi r ^2
 r = 2/d  Diameter = 8 inches
   =  2/8     Radius = 4 inches
   = 4                  A = 3.14 x 4^2
                          A = 3.14 x 4 x 4
                          A = 3.14 x 16
                          A = 50.24 inches ^2
