How much of the time should an artist be looking directly at the subject when creating a contour drawing?
A. Never
B. About 25 percent
C. At least 50 percent
D. Always

I'm pretty positive the answer is D, but I also think it could be C. I'm not exactly sure.

A "modified contour line drawing" allows you to look at your paper and pick up your pen, using multiple lines instead of one. Although not completely blind, the artist should only look at the paper 10% of the time, and at the object 90% of the time

The answer would be c as the artist would need to be looking at the subject for more than 50% of the time but they also need to look at what they are doing to compare and make sure that everything is going well.
