What is the solution to-4[2x+6]=-24

- 4[2x+6]=-24

mutiply the bracket by -4

(-4)(2x)= -8x

(-4)(6)= -24

-8x-24= -24

move -24 to the right side

-8x-24+24= -24+24

-8x= -24+24

-8x= 0

divide both sides by -8 to get +x and by itself

-8x/-8= 0/-8

cross out -8 and -8 , divide by -8

then becomes 1*1*x= x

x= 0/-8
