In both World Wars, Great Britain and France made up the main European powers of the allies. Germany was on the other side in both wars (with the Axis Powers). Sweden was consistently neutral/not a big player in the wars (although it was invaded in ww2, it tried to stay neutral). Hope this was helpful!
