An inductive reasoning is a logical process in which multiple premises, all believed true or found true most of the time, are combined to obtain a specific conclusion.

Inductive reasoning is process of observing data, recognizing patterns, and drawing conclusions based on these observations.

For example, let's say that an aspiring naturalist study several different types of elephants, and he sees that each type of elephant has a trunk. He can then use inductive reasoning to draw the conclusion that all elephants have trunks.

Note that the observations are in italics and the conclusion is in bold.
