B. Jane did not mind taking care of Mr. John and his old sister. She would often pick up the groceries for them, make them dinner, and when time permitted, would even do their laundry. Mr. Williams considered her a blessing and even their cat, Primrose, purred with affection when Jane walked in the front door.

C. Lauren walked out of the room, picked up her bag and closed the door behind her. Tiptoeing across the hall, she reached the main door and got out of the flat. The girl in the neighboring flat threw a puzzled glance at her. Lauren ignored the curious brunette and pressed the elevator button.
