Bias in writing occurs when the writer shows favor for, or against something or someone, for example- presenting a prejudiced image of a particular group.

Which sentence below contains an example of bias?
A) Our neighbor drives like a farmer.
B) Since the surgery, my dad moves slowly.
C) There are many college students in our town.
D) All the people I spoke to said they could come to the party.

It would be A. A bias is like an opinion. It means that it can not be proven. D is a fact. And B and C are facts as well because they can be proven one way or another. You can’t prove that you neighbor drives ‘like a farmer’ because there is no technical definition to what it means to drive ‘like a farmer’.
