Poppy is delighted when she meets Sam on an online dating website. He is charming and handsome and, best of all, seems to be equally enchanted with her. The two exchange online messages and talk on the phone. Sam asks Poppy to transfer him some money so that he can travel from his home in London to visit her in Austin, Texas. Poppy sends Sam money for a plane ticket, plus additional funds to cover medical expenses so he can travel comfortably and feel his best when he meets her family.
