If you wanted to take a deeper approach, you could discuss bipartisanship and cover the many laws that have been passed or declined based on political leanings. Explain how, with greater unity, the common interests of citizens could be addressed before political partisanship. This doesn’t have to be politically biased, just
1.) find specific examples of biased lawmaking that would’ve benefited society without this bias
2.) explain the value of bipartisan unity and cooperation as well as political moderates
This might be interesting, especially if done from an objective standpoint
