Solution:

The absolute value means how far it is from zero and also means no negative.

From the number line,

“2” is 2 lines away from zero and “(-2)” is also 2 lines away from zero.

So, the absolute value of = 2 and |(-2)| = 2 also.

Hence, The absolute value of 2 and (-2) is 2.
