Characterized by drought tolerant flora and fauna, the A. Chaparral biome, or ecosystem, is found in the Mediterranean climate zone. This biome experiences extreme temperatures throughout the year, experiencing 30F winters and 100F summers. Summers are so hot and dry that forest fires and drought are common here.
