The Intolerable acts was a series of laws passed to punish the state of Massachusetts, primarily the city of Boston in response of the Boston Tea Party. Of these laws passed, included these punishments.

Boston Port Act

- Boston's port was closed till the colonist paid the tea they dumped into the harbor in full.

Quartering Act

- Colonist were to provide housing to British Soldiers

Massachusetts Government Act

- Reformed the government of Massachusetts, vesting more power into the Governor while limiting the power of the colonist. Such as many elected individuals were now only appointed by the Governor.

Administration of Justice Act

- Have fair trial for British Officials who were either charged for capital offense while upholding British Rule or suppressing protest.

Quebec Act

- Extended the borders of the Canada, cutting off the western colonies of Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Virginia
