Salt, oil and vinegar are nonliving, although the latter two are derived from once-living things.

There are likely to be living cells in fresh fruits and vegetables; you might be able to sprout seeds, for example. There will be live bacteria in buttermilk, sour cream, yogurt, and some cheeses. Anything preserved (e.g. raisins, olives, bacon) is dead.
