In this exercise, we have to use the cues and write questions about where these people were when something happened and then provide the answers. The model is as follows:
– ¿Dónde estaba Jimena cuando Marissa salió a bailar?
– Jimena estaba en el cuarto. Dormía la siesta.
The word dónde that translates into where conveys the idea of place. Also, in the model the imperfect and preterite are both being used, so we will also use those tenses in our exercises. Thus:
– ¿Dónde estaba Miguel cuando llamé por teléfono?
– Miguel estaba en la cocina. Lavaba los platos.
