The painters of Lascaux depicted the animals which were hunted for food at that time and also signifies that the animals depicted on the walls were an important element in the hunting magic ritual, which proclaims that the killing of animals sends some sort of messages to its spirits as to not to punish humans . literally it was a communication medium between gods and spirits world .
