2x - 4y = 3

x = 3+4y ----- equ 3

put equ 3 into equ 1

12y - 2y = 8 - 9

10y = -1

y = -1/10

if y =-1/10 then

equ 2

x - 4(-1/10) = 3

x - 4/10 = 3

x = 3 + 4/10

x = 34/10
