Hi !

This laboratory test indicates which of the following?

A. Her glucose control is poor.

The hemoglobin A1C,  used to follow glucose control, measures the average glu- cose levels over the previous 2 or 3 months. The hemoglobin A1C goal for most diabetics is 6% to 9%. Levels greater than 12% suggest poor control, and levels 9% to 12% represent fair control.
