Adrenal Glands are two small structures which exist at the top of your kidneys. These glands serve as 'chemical couriers' as they release hormones in the bloodstream.

They release three types of hormones into the body namely:

Aldosterone hormones - controls the body's blood pressure and regulates salt and water levels in the body .

Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) and testosterone - help with body development of male and female through puberty and childhood.
