HELP ASAP
Why would Simon Wheeler tell the narrator of the story about Jim Smiley rather than the Reverend Leonidas W. Smiley?
He couldn't find the preacher.
He wanted to create a problem for Jim Smiley.
He knew Jim Smiley wouldn't care in the least that the Reverend knew.
The author thought it would be more entertaining to write it this way.
