How do you graph this equation?

Answer:
lines would cross X-axis on points (8,0) and on Y-axis points (0,-8)
Step-by-step explanation:
first your going to try to make X-Y=8 with 1 variable by itself...
1) get rid of either X or Y ,so 1st you want to add (Y) both sides to cancel -Y to make it X=8+Y
2) you would end up with X=8 so you mark on the X-axis (8) points
3) do the same with X, minus X both sides and you get -y=8-x...but (Y) can't be negative so just shift it over to 8 and (X)....giving you Y=-8+X
4)on graph you mark the Y-axis (-8)
5)connect the two :)
