For example if we didn't have police then there would be alot more municipal violations like speeding which lead to accidents , but also many other things would be more frequent like pick pocketing and shop lifting. Another example is fire departments, without then people and communities would have to put out there own fires and in major scenarios like forest fire it would be impossible to contain without fire fighter. The thing that links these is they are government agencies that run on public tax dollars and without said tax dollars they wouldn't work.
