In what way was the Constitution of the United States a product of the Enlightenment? It built upon the ideas of limiting government power and supporting individual rights. It embraced institutions such as slavery in order to achieve political compromise. It limited the political power of uneducated citizens. It installed a privileged class of nobles in a permanent position of political power.

Hi, hope you're having a great day!

Your answer is A: It built upon the ideas of limiting government power and supporting individual rights.

The way I found this answer is by process of elimination. First take a brief look at the Constitution, then look at the answers given. The Constitution never embraced slavery so B is incorrect, It didn't directly limit the political power of uneducated citizens (although, to be in any political position, you have to be educated anyways.) which makes C incorrect. And finally it firmly and clearly condemned privilege and inequality, so D is incorrect as well.

I hoped this helped out! I spent a while typing this all out so I would appreciate if you could award me with the brainliest? Thank you!
