Many of the species are undiscovered now but a precise estimation of scientists states that their are approximately 8.7 billion species in the world.

The current count of genera is around  1,258 , which is divided into 156 families, sub classified in 27 orders, and the living species of mammals are which are recognized are around 5,937.

Some of the most common traits that have been evolved in the species are consuming and releasing energy, growth and reproduction.
