Winds, Waves, and Solar power are all natural resources. Wind, Ocean waves and The sun all come naturally. Unlike oil which you have to dig up. Also there's no pollution from these kinds of energy.

Pollution differentiates between the energy created from the renewable and non-renewable sources of energy.

Pollution can be defined as degradation in the quality and other characteristics of the natural elements due to natural or other external factors, as such.

The energy created from the renewable sources like wind, sun, and ocean leads to very less or zero pollution. Whereas, sources like oil, and other fuels lead to generation of higher levels of pollution.

Hence, pollution is the differentiator between the energy created from the sources like wind, sun, ocean, and the energy created from the sources like oil.
