False. Our understandings of different emotions are very subjective, and the standardised expectations of certain emotions will not be met in individuals with particular learning difficulties or mental health conditions.
This is false. We all interpret emotions based on our individual cognitive abilities, development and social influences. Everyone's experience of life is unique to that individual so we all interpret emotions differently. In addition certain learning disabilities, mental health conditions, neurobehavioral and neurobiological conditions make interpretations of emotions and social cues difficult.
