The world as we know it happens in the place between stimulus and reaction. The event occurs, and we do it think something. But this happens so fast that we don't question the credibility of this idea we've assigned to the event, place or condition. The way to get the power of this idea is to slow the process down, and the way to slow the process down is with reflection. I have a natural tendency to react or make situations more stressful than they are. But as my reflection practice has intensified, I've noticed a significant dynamic change. Some of the things that could have previously rattled me don't.
