D(7, 3), E(8, 1), and  F(4, -1)

We calculate the squared distances between the points:

[tex]DE^2 = 1^2 + 2^2 = 5[/tex]

[tex]EF^2=4^2+2^2=20[/tex]

[tex]DF^2=3^2+4^2=25[/tex]

Since [tex]DF^2=DE^2+EF^2[/tex] we have a right triangle with hypotenuse DF.

Since we have a right triangle with hypotenuse DF.

I got it right
