Respuesta :

a.increasing the value or trade between europe and asia

Answer: A) Increasing the value of trade between Europe and Asia.

With the commercial revolution came increased trade. As trade with other regions (Asia in particular) became more important, the reliance of Europeans on foreign goods increased. This also raised interest in finding new trade routes to Asia.

The Age of Exploration was largely motivated by this desire. For example, Columbus' journey was financed because of the promise of finding a sea route to Asia. Even after he had arrived to America, he believed he had reached Asia and continued to look for a route to India.
