Try to convince your reader. Use persuasive words and give reasons as to why your fighting for that side of the argument. for an example if you were talking about something like your favorite food (odd example but it should work) you should try to use some descriptive language that will convince the reader into thinking that the food you are talking about really is good. Even if you're trying to convince them that brussel sprouts are good (which they aren't) but descriptive language is a huge part of being persuasive.
