Let's say you have the equation y = -4x - 2
You go 2 down on the y-axis. So place a point on (0, -2)
After that we have -4x which is actually -4/1 which means +1 for the x-axis and -4 on the y-axis!
Which determines our new point to be on (1, -6)
And you just make the lines now or to make it even easier flip (1, -6) to (-1, 6)
