Euskadi ta Askatasuna is a terrorist organization based out of País Vasco in Northern Spain.
In operation from 1958 until 2018, the organization was known for killing upwards of 840 people, including civilians. It was labeled as a terrorist group by the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, and the European Union. The ETA promoted ideals such as Basque Nationalism, European federalism, and revolutionary socialism.
