So the y intercept is 6, then because of the 2 slope you go 2 points up and 1 to the right

Hello!

The given function is a line, to graph it, we need to find the axis intercepts using all the information we have.

So,

[tex]f(x)=2(x+3)=2x+6[/tex]

Where:

[tex]slope=VariableCoefficient=2\\YAxisIntercept=Constant=6\\XAxistIntercept=-3[/tex]

Since it's a possitive slope, the function is increasing.

We cand fint the x-intercept by making the function tend to zero (0), so:

[tex]0=2x+6[/tex]

[tex]-6=2x[/tex]

[tex]x=\frac{-6}{2}=-3[/tex]

We can find the y-intercept by making the variable tend to zero (0), so:

[tex]f(0)=2(0)+6[/tex]

[tex]y=6[/tex]

Therefore, the intercept points will be (-3,0) and (0,6)

For the graph, see the attached image.

Have a nice day!
